On September 11, 2001 I was walking to work down Lispenard St. to my then job at CLM.
I heard the first plane overheard, looked up and seeing the initial crash to the first tower, the ground shaking under my feet and the sound of thousands of car alarms going off immediately afterwards.. I ran to the office to make sure everyone was ok.
I grabbed Felix De’Nyeurt, who was the agencies director and ran back outside to show the damage to this errant plane hitting the WTC. A minute later we witnessed the 2nd plane go into the South Tower.
My heart goes out to all of those who lost loved ones on this day. May we never forget.
